(95) Cergy-Saint-Chistophe

These clocks which were designed, manufactured and installed by HUCHEZ, adorn the new Cergy-Saint-Christophe railway station. The second hand which is 6 metres long and weighs 130 kg travels 45 km per day at its extremity. Each movement weighs 450 kg and drives the three hands which together weigh a total of 350 kg and which have to withstand winds of 160 km per hour.

We first overhaul these two movement in year 2008, after 23 years of service and after the second hand runs 380.000 KM, so the distance between earth and moon.
